Text and Musical Excerpts from "B" is for Bully
The following text is a sample from the script of "B" is for Bully.
BLANCHE:
So, girls, cleaning again?
| |
ROSE:
We’re just erasing some writing on the desk.
| |
BLANCHE:
Oh, isn’t that sweet? It’s not enough that they spend hours keeping notebooks tidy. Now they’re branching out to desks.
| |
ROBERTA:
(whispering to Rose) Just ignore them.
| |
BLANCHE:
What was that? Blade, I think they’re trying to ignore us. I don’t like being ignored. Do you?
| |
BLADE:
No. That’s rude.
| |
BLANCHE:
Perhaps we need to make sure we’re not ignored.
| |
BLADE:
How?
| |
BLANCHE:
Watch.
| |
| |
(By this point, the Erasers have stopped erasing and are watching to see what Blanche and Blade are going to do. Blanche spills or paints some whiteout on the desk.)
| |
ROBERTA:
Hey? What are you doing?
| |
BLANCHE:
Making sure I’m not ignored. Let’s see how you do at cleaning this up!
| |
ROSE:
But we can’t clean it up.
| |
BLANCHE:
Aren’t you smart, Rose. Well, isn’t that just too bad. And don’t you dare say a word about this to C.D. or you’ll be sorry.
