"B" is for Bully is a complete package for classroom teachers.

The story starts with Colin and Emily, two Grade 6 students, discussing a problem that is happening at their school. A bully is making people miserable. Little do they know that the school supplies in their desks are experiencing the same sort of problem.

“B” is for Bully is a musical play in which bullying that occurs in a classroom is mirrored among the objects in students’ desks. Intended for an audience ranging in grade from K to Grade 6, this whimsical piece is written for a cast of 32, but can easily be performed by as few as 20 or as many as 50 students. The performance time is approximately 45 minutes. The play includes 4 songs and creatively sends the message to both participants in the play and audience members that children must speak up when they see or experience bullying.

The teacher’s edition includes the complete script of the play, the complete musical score for the play, background information about bullying and strategies for dealing with it, a variety of ways to use the play or portions of it to initiate classroom discussion of this issue, detailed suggestions of how to produce the play, a comprehensive bibliography of resources for anti-bullying education and thirty different activities related to anti-bullying education including art projects, language projects, games and even some dances.

Also available are packages of 16 scripts and an accompaniment CD.
